In June 2022, BioMed Realty signed a lease with global pharmaceutical company Takeda for the approximately 600,000-square-foot lab/office component of BioMed’s 585 Kendall project, an innovative development in Cambridge, MA, where “science meets art.” The historic lease signing, followed by a project groundbreaking ceremony in October 2022, represents the culmination of years of complex site assemblage, community engagement efforts, permitting and entitlement activities, design and engineering, and leasing outreach. These efforts have involved CREW Boston members and other professional women across a breadth of disciplines in the real estate industry.
This month, CREW Boston announced the 585 Kendall contributors as the winners of the organization’s 2023 Networking Award, which will be presented at an awards reception on April 26.
