BioMed Realty Bolsters West Coast Market Operations by Appointing 30-Year Real Estate Veteran Bob Nowak as Senior Vice President

Bob Nowak will lead the operations and facilities functions across the West Coast markets, which include San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and Boulder.

San Diego, CA (December 3, 2024) – BioMed Realty, a Blackstone portfolio company and the largest private operator of life science real estate, announced today that Bob Nowak has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Operations for West Coast Markets.

Mr. Nowak will lead the operations and facilities functions across the West Coast markets, which include San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and Boulder. He will be based at the Company’s headquarters in San Diego. Mr. Nowak brings 30 years of commercial real estate operations and asset management experience to BioMed Realty. He most recently served as Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).

Prior to joining JLL in 2013, Mr. Nowak served as Chief Operating Officer at Means Knaus Partners. Mr. Nowak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Arizona State University and an MBA from University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business.
