The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team to provide financial and accounting support for a portfolio of properties; including auditing and closing books, preparing statements and establishing and maintaining accurate records.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements for various properties, including income statements and balance sheets, adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), tax regulations, other relevant financial standards and company policies.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Perform financial analysis and prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis for assigned portfolio.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for property-related transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, daily rent collection postings by department cash deadline, and timely payments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger for each property, recording all financial transactions, and reconciling accounts on a monthly basis; maintaining property financial work books.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Lease Administration: Review and interpret lease agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment of lease-related revenues and expenses.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Review tenant billings, including recurring CAM, property tax, management fee, insurance, utility billings and tenant specific manual billings for coding and accuracy of documentation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Annual budget and CAM estimates: assist Asset Management team with annual budget specific portfolio tasks and assist Property Management team with the preparation of annual CAM estimates.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Financial Audits: Facilitate audits conducted by external auditors, providing required documentation and explanations as needed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Process Improvement: Continuously assess accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property management, finance, and executive leadership, to provide financial insights, to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.&lt;/li&gt;
