Industrial Road is a four-story research complex located south of San Francisco, conveniently situated just off the 101 Freeway. The facility has views of the San Francisco Bay and consists of laboratory and office space on the top two floors of the building and a two-story parking structure on the lower two floors. The facility was constructed in two phases on a build-to-suit basis for Nektar Therapeutics, a public company specializing in drug delivery technologies. Phase I was completed in 2000 and Phase II was completed in 2001. The property is fully leased to Nektar and to Nuvelo, Inc., a public biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel drugs for acute cardiovascular disease, cancer and other debilitating medical conditions.
