JOB DESCRIPTION
Associate, Finance will be reporting to the Senior Director, Finance and will be responsible for managing a variety of functions as part of the corporate finance team. Areas of responsibility may include budgeting and forecasting, portfolio analysis and asset management, investment underwriting and acquisition analysis, in addition to managing the execution of various debt and equity financing transactions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 (five) years in progressive finance positions with corporate finance and/or real estate finance required
- A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required; MBA, CFA, or CPA strongly preferred
- Investment banking and/or prior commercial real estate or REIT experience a plus
- Flexible with the ability to handle diverse tasks with short deadlines.
- Proven leadership, management and organizational skills with a track record of results.
- Must be organized, computer literate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Significant financial modeling experience required
- Familiarity with Argus a plus
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Assist the Senior Management team in strategic planning, including periodic assessment and the preparation and delivery of presentations regarding all aspects of the company’s financial position and performance
- Supervise financial analysts in all aspects of portfolio analysis, including financial underwriting for potential property and portfolio investments, including stabilized acquisitions, re-leasing, redevelopment and development opportunities, as well as detailed tenant credit analysis
- Establish and maintain contacts with investors, lenders, investment banks and various other financial institutions
- Assist in the review, evaluation, negotiation and execution of various capital markets transactions including debt and equity financing activities
- Prepare or manage the preparation of all other financial reports, analyses and documents as designated by the CFO
- Additional duties as may be determined by the Board of Directors and Senior Management
